principal standards
As part of the Masters of Education - Education Administration program at Concordia University - Austin, students are required to complete a two semester practicum that includes the demonstration of mastery in the Texas Principal Standards.
Beginning with a comprehensive practicum proposal, I have logged in excess of 180 hours of administrative shadowing and duties. Through these activities, I believe I am prepared to take on the task of administrator.
The five standards of Texas Administrators set forth by the Texas Education Agency are listed below with links to examples of the practicum work in each area.
